Project Description
We have established a connection between BigQuery instance, Power Bi Desktop and PowerBi service (Cloud). For the first stage of this workflow, we have established a conversation between Big Query and Power through "Direct Query" feature which means that after tables were loaded no data was really imported into Power BI. Instead, upon building a visual aid within Power BI Desktop, queries are sent to the underlying data source (Big Query) to retrieve the necessary data. The time taken to refresh the visual depends on the performance of the latter.
All visual aids generated on Power Bi Desktop are reflected on Power Bi service automatically.
